The 34th session of the Arab Summit concluded today, Saturday (May 17, 2025), in the capital, Baghdad, with the participation of leaders and representatives of Arab countries.

The final statement, received by Al-Naba News Agency, reaffirmed the categorical rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people, reiterating the Arab countries’ steadfast position on the Palestinian cause.

The statement also emphasized the urgent and sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to exert pressure to stop the bloodshed in the besieged territory.

Furthermore, the statement clarified that the goal of the Arab Summit is to unify efforts and achieve the interests of our region’s peoples in facing common challenges.

Regarding other regional crises, Arab leaders condemned the Zionist attacks on Syria, stressing the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states.

On the Sudanese issue, the statement called for finding a political solution to end the ongoing conflict in the country and protect civilians.
